House of Hope

The House of Hope Ministry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry that began in 2005, operating under the ministry of New Hope The Vision Center. The purpose behind this ministry is to fight hunger within our community and to assist those in need in a dignified and supportive manner.

We are an all volunteer ministry that does everything from picking up deliveries, stocking the pantry, moving and packing, as well as distributing food. The House of Hope is located at 418A Morgantown Road on the back side of our children’s church. The pantry is open for distribution once a month, on the third Saturday from 8 am to 10 am only (unless announced otherwise). The pantry also takes donated food items (including baby food) in order to help service this ministry.

As we serve many people from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities, our goal is that  – No One Will Go To Bed Hungry!

New applications are taken on site on 3rd Saturdays from 8 am to 10 am only during the pantry distribution time.

If you would like to volunteer for this ministry, please see any team member.

Areas for volunteerism include:

  • Driving to pick up donated food
  • Stocking shelves
  • Packing boxes
  • Distributing food items at the pantry
